Looks like Harry met Sally again.
Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan recently reunited at Katz’s Deli in New York to shoot a Super Bowl commercial for Hellmann’s Mayonnaise.
There were rumors the pair were shooting something related to their classic rom-com – many thought a reunion film might be in the works – but it was instead all about the mayo.
The pair recreated their classic deli scene from the 1989 rom-com “When Harry Met Sally” – where Salle fakes an orgasm to prove to Harry that women do fake it.
This time she fakes it after adding Hellmann’s mayo to her sandwich. The original deli scene was punctuated by a woman (director Rob Reiner’s mother) delivering the classic line to a waiter, “I’ll have what she’s having.” This time it’s actress Sydney Sweeney doing the honors.
Let’s hope the majority of Super Bowl ads are as entertaining as this one.
