“Playing Through” is a golf term meaning a golfer/group is going to jump ahead of the group/person in front of them – mostly because they’re playing faster.
A Florida woman played through a restaurant called Tako Tiki just outside of Port Saint Lucie in Jensen Beach. *NOTE* Tako Tiki is nowhere near a golf course and – up until the incident – didn’t have a drive-thru.
Security cameras captured the moment an unnamed woman drove a golf cart up a ramp and into a dining area, slamming into multiple tables and people – with some even ending up UNDER the golf cart – FORE!!!
Martin County Sherriff’s Officer Captain Ruben Romero said multiple people were injured in the crash suffering serious injuries, including one woman who fractured her pelvis.
According to the report, the woman was picked up at a nearby resort by an employee of the restaurant and at one point was left alone in the cart and tried (quite unsuccessfully) to drive it.
Possibly even more shocking, field sobriety test came back negative – meaning she was sober at the time of the crash. The woman was charged with careless driving causing injuries.
