You’d have thought that after the death of Eddie Van Halen and the basic disillusion of the band that all the usual Van Halen drama that seemingly constantly swirled around the band would subside.
You would be wrong.
Enter David Lee Roth.
D.L.R. posted a YouTube video chastising Wolfgang Van Halen about things that happened on the final Van Halen tour.
The video is called, “This Crazy Kid”, though Dave uses the phrase “this fuckin’ kid” throughout the rant accusing Wolfie of being an “nepo baby” among other things.
It’s not clear why Dave is going after Wolfie . . . but in 2022, Wolfgang complained that a proposed Van Halen tribute tour fell apart because “some people” were too difficult to work with.
Is Dave “some people”? Could Wolfie be right? Didn’t Dave just go after Sammy Hagar recently, too? Is Dave insane?
These are all legit questions.
