The amazing, futuristic Sphere at the Venetian Resort (or the The MSG Sphere) opened in Las Vegas on Friday. Its opening coincided with the beginning of U2’s 25 show residency at the new venue. The plan is to host 4 to 6 residencies by various artist each year.
While I’ve been reading about The Sphere for the last couple years, I don’t think I’ve been able to fully imagine what it would be like to attend a show there.
However, after Friday’s opening show, a blogger, Jen G., who goes by Vegas Starfish posted a short video to X that finally gave me a sense of what it must be like to attend a concert in The Sphere.
