Rise Together is a nonprofit organization based out of Appleton, WI that has been on a mission to educate and engage our youth about addiction and mental health. Getting their start over a decade ago they have spoken to kids and adults alike all over the country and have truly made a difference in the fight against addiction and mental health stigmas.
“At RISE TOGETHER, they know that every voice counts. They encourage young people to stand up and speak out on the issues that matter most to them, giving them the tools they need to make a difference in the world.”
Ahead of their tenth-anniversary celebration in Appleton on September 12th at Houdini Plaza which will feature live music from JD & Cutter, Crucial Moves, and more. Plus speakers, street art, food trucks, and even a proclamation from Appleton Mayor Jake Woodford. Founder Anthony Alvarado chatted with Rick and Cutter about Rise Together and the celebration.
