APPLETON, WI — Appleton Police have a suspect in custody following an armed incident. Officers were called to the 1500 block of East Longview Drive early this Monday morning on the report of a man violating a the terms of a restraining order. The suspect was reportedly armed with a knife outside of the apartment building and was threatening himself and others. Police used a taser to disarm the man and take him into custody without further incident. He was treated for non-life threatening injuries and then placed under arrest. Criminal charges are pending.
