OSHKOSH, Wis–The death of an inmate at the Winnebago County Jail is under investigation. The man was found unresponsive in his cell at 11:15 this (Wednesday) morning.
Jail personnel attempted life-saving measures, but they were unsuccessful. The inmate’s name and age have not been released.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department has been called in to handle the investigation.
