The Midwest Paper Group mill in Combined Locks is under new ownership. Bio-PAPPEL has purchased the facility from the investment firm of IOP for an undsclosed amount. The Midwest plant produces packaging grade paper like corrugated cardboard. It is the former Appleton Papers plant–which closed in 2017–but then reopened as Midwest Paper Group in 2018.
