A new short documentary looks at the early days of AC/DC in Australia.
The Forgotten Sydney of AC/DC features archive footage and interviews with early band members Dave Evans, Mark Evans, Noel Taylor, Rob Bailey, and Tony Currenti. There are cool moments explored like Angus wearing the schoolboy uniform for the first time, recording their first album, and more.
The filmmakers call it “a high-voltage trip through Sydney and learn about the forgotten haunts and the story that shaped AC/DC…. All members reflect on Sydney’s role in shaping AC/DC and more generally on the decline of Sydney as a live music hub.”
