ESPN’s 10-part documentary, “The Last Dance“, which chronicled the final season of the ’98 Chicago Bulls – focusing primarily on Michael Jordan – has just finished up. But the hysteria over anything MJ is very much alive and thriving.
Jordan fever is still alive and well considering the record price just paid for a pair of game-worn Jordan 1’s from 1985. That pair of shoes (RIGHT) just sold at Sotheby’s Auction House for a staggering $560,000! A new WORLD RECORD for an athletic shoe sale.
You can hear ‘Mars Blackmon‘ yelling, “It’s Gotta Be the Shoes Money!”
This auction eclipses the previous record sale of Nike’s classic running shoe ‘Moon Shoes’ which sold for $437,500. It’s just another record to add to the G.O.A.T.’s extensive resume.
