Nearly 4 months ago, Lindsey Buckingham had open heart surgery and a few weeks ago, he took to the stage to perform ‘Landslide’ with his daughter and her classmates.
The performance featured Buckingham playing guitar and not singing, leaving fans to wonder if the initial reports of vocal cord damage are long lasting. In a statement by Lindsey’s wife Kristen back in February, she said, “While he and his heart are doing well, the surgery resulted in vocal cord damage. While it is unclear if the damage is permanent, we are hopeful it is not.” Neither have addressed his possible vocal issues since this initial statement.
Lindsey’s wife Kristen took to Twitter to express her excitement in the performance and in Lindsey’s recovery. She also shared a small clip of the performance via Instagram which you can watch above.
Last night was epic. First time I’ve seen Lindsey play in the last 4 mos, all the while Leelee ending her high school career. AND she sings a little Landslide with her dad. I cried, I’ll admit it. Never know what’s ahead so enjoy the moment...
