We are proud to name as this week’s Laura Lee And Cutter Weenie of the Week, Julie Arbegust of Richland Center for getting not one but two OWIs in the same day, at the same place, arrested by the same officer. Although, to be fair, it was pretty easy for this officer to make that happen since he didn’t even have to leave the courthouse. She showed up to the courthouse under the influence. Now, we don’t know what she was under the influence from, but it sounds like more than alcohol and definitely some sort of drug. The deputy sheriff who arrested her witnessed the 60 year old used up user get out of her car and enter the courtroom; that’s easy arrest number one. That would be her 3rd OWI. Then, after being booked into the Richland County jail, she was released to a responsible party. That person they released her to must not have been that responsible, because minutes later the same deputy watched this Granny get into the same car she drove to the courthouse, and start it up, then drive away. The deputy quickly caught up to her and arrested her again for her 4th OWI if you’re keeping track, that’s 2 OWIs in the same day, actually within a couple of hours of each other.
So for getting it twice in one day, and we don’t think that’s the twice in one day fantasy most of us have in mind, for making that deputy’s job easier than a Kardashian in a locker room, and for maybe misunderstanding how much a Gram is actually worth, we are proud to name juiced up junkie Julie, the ungracious granny of Richland Center as this week’s Laura Lee & Cutter Weenie of the Week.
