NEENAH, WI — A Neenah Police officer is fired for possession of child pornography. In in a pair of news releases issued this (Wednesday) afternoon, Police Chief Aaron Olson identified the officer as probationary Officer Owen Halls, who joined the department in March of 2024. Chief Olson says his office was alerted after an Internet Crimes Against Children tip to the Kaukauna Police Department. That information identified a Kaukauna residence where Halls resides. Kaukauna Police notified the Neenah Police Department about that information Monday. Kaukauna Police executed numerous search warrants and subpoenas at Halls’ residence today (Wednesday). Those searches led to two counts of Possession of Child Pornography filed against Halls, who is now lodged in the Outagamie County Jail. No additional details are being released and the case remains under investigation.
