C’mon get Happy… again.
The teaser trailer for ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ just hit the web and it looks like a return to form for Adam Sandler and crew.
The much-anticipated sequel to the 1996 comedy is teasing fans with sneak peeks of both the hilarious hijinks and celebrity cameos awaiting them as its set to premiere on Netflix on July 25, 2025, nearly three decades since the original film became a blockbuster hit.
Adam Sandler returns as the unforgettable Happy Gilmore but this time around, Sandler’s character is returning to the golf course after years away preparing to face off against today’s biggest golfing stars including Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, and legends Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.
The film also returns key characters from the original. Christopher McDonald reprises his role as Shooter McGavin and Julie Bowen returns as Virginia Venit, Happy’s romantic interest. Also look for cameos from across the sports/entertainmant world including Travis Kelce, rapper Eminem, and musician Bad Bunny.
‘Happy Gilmore 2’ is directed by Kyle Newacheck and has a tee time on Netflix July 25th.
