When I see an electric fan (except for celling) the first thing I think of is the scene in Tommy Boy where Tommy does the Darth Vader homage “Luke, I am Your Father” into a fan. It’s definitely not, “I wonder if could I stop the blade with my tongue?” finger maybe… but tongue? That’s a hard pass.
But that’s just me, not Kranthi Drillman of India, who just set a Guinness World Record for exactly that – stopping an electric fan blade with his tongue.
Kranthi stopped 57 fan blades in one minute and bloodies himself in the process.
Silly? Yes.
Dumb? Questionable.
World Record-Worthy? Apparently.
