We are proud to name as this week’s Laura Lee & Cutter Weenie of the Week, the unmanned Jeep owner who might have been trying to take his rubber ducks for a swim on a lake near Wautoma last weekend. On Sunday a few different listeners and co-workers tagged us in a video posted to TikTok and Facebook reels by the Wautoma Police Department of a guy driving his jeep on a lake and then, into the lake. The ice thickness on the lake on a 40-degree Sunday was measured at somewhere between 3 to 4 inches so it is impressive that he got as far as he did with just 3 inches.

Now while there were plenty of situations in the past week of people trying to get on the ice even though it isn’t thick enough yet, you dummies, this Jeep owner was the first we saw and maybe the dumbest, Plus he’s ok which makes it easier for us to make fun of. On top of that, it wasn’t even a good Jeep, it was just one of the Compass or small-size Cherokee, basically, it was the kind of Jeep you’d have a better chance of seeing at Costco, than you would on a trail.
So for taking your jeep on a splish-splash lakeside bath with your rubber duckies, because they’re the ones, for playing chicken with Darwin, and winning, and for not taking it ice and easy, Ice see what you did there.
