Led Zeppelin fans, the wait (of about 5 years) is almost over to witness the Zep doc “Becoming Led-Zeppelin“.
The film gives fans the origin story of how the band came together.
Becoming Led-Zeppelin explores the origins of this iconic group and their meteoric rise in just one year against all the odds. Powered by awe-inspiring, psychedelic, never-before-seen footage, performances, and music, Bernard MacMahon’s experiential cinematic odyssey explores Led Zeppelin’s creative, musical, and personal origin story. The film is told in Led Zeppelin’s own words and is the first officially sanctioned film on the group.
The official trailer has been released for the doc and a premiere date of of February 7th is set.
Thing is that the doc is making its big screen premiere on THE BIGGEST screen possible – IMAX – so you’ll have to find one nearest you. Milwaukee and Madison most likely here in Wisconsin.
Ahead of its premiere on February 7th, IMAX Theatres in 18 markets will be holding one night only early access screenings on February 5th. Tickets are on sale for both dates now at Imax.com/LedZeppelin.
