Wisconsin this time of year and even if you’re participating in a Thanksgiving day “fun run” in upstate New York.
A turkey trot in Watertown, NY was interrupted by a heard of brown interlopers or antelope-ers in this case.
The fun run I’m sure was that to most of the competitors… save those who got trampled by the deer. The annual turkey trot got interrupted on Thanksgiving when a bunch of deer came charging through the participants and slammed into a woman who was running in it.
This is why the only place you should run on Thanksgiving is between the table, couch, bathroom and back out to the store when your mom forgot bread crumbs for the mac n’ cheese.
Luckily, she wasn’t seriously hurt… well… maybe not physically hurt but possibly mentally scarred due to the fact people are joking online that “grandma really did get run over by a reindeer.”
I’d like to see those social media trolls take a shot like that from Rudolph and get right back up.
