Have you even been on vacation and thought “I’d love to just bottle this air and take it home with me“?
Well this is apparently a thing you CAN do.
There’s just something special in the air at Lake Como, Italy so-much-so now visitors at the Italian tourist destination can take that special air home with them. Souvenir shops have begun selling Lake Como air in a can. Yes… Air… in a can. So a can seemingly with nothing in it.
Each can promises to contain 13.5 ounces of “pure air from the most beautiful lake in the world” and costs about $11.
The product’s website says it is “perfect for those who wish to rediscover the peace and elegance of this heavenly corner, sealed in a tin,” and encourages people to “open it whenever you need a moment of escape, tranquility, or simply beauty.”
This has all the trappings of the special mountain spring water, bottled without impurities from the base of the world’s most exclusive glacier – when we all know it’s just filtered tap water from the kitchen.
But, for the budget-conscious, if you really want to buy air but for less than $11, just buy a $3 bag of chips – plenty of air in there.
