Somewhere around 1991 Kentucky Fried Chicken changed it’s corporate moniker to an easily-consumable, finger-lickin’-good, acronym of KFC.
Little did we know that some 33 years later we’d find out that the “K” in KFC doesn’t stand for “Kentucky” but instead for Kangaroo – at least in Australia.
Footage of a kangaroo that somehow found its way inside a KFC in Australia was just released. You can see the ‘roo hip-hopping thru the restaurant looking for a way out – at one point ramming into the automatic glass doors. Another aspect of the video that’s interesting is the Aussie sitting at a window-side table looking non-plussed with the proceedings – as if this thing happens all the time. Then again in Australia, maybe it does.
Maybe he would’ve been more impressed had he know he was witness to the invention of the world’s first fast food “Hop-Thru“.
