If you’ve ever dreamed of being a NASCAR driver – well keep dreaming – but you could be one step closer by OWNING an ACTUAL, RACE-USED NASCAR from none other than Dale Earnhardt Jr.
This is literally owning a big piece of NASCAR history and here’s your chance.
A car driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. from the 2007 Pepsi 400 is up for auction on Cars and Bids.
This Chevrolet Monte Carlo isn’t street legal. But it’s rear-wheel drive, with a manual transmission – and roars with a 5.9-liter V8 engine. This thing is a no-joke, authentic race car that could be yours – at the right price.
Here’s the specs from CARS & BIDS
THIS… is a 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo NASCAR, finished in red with a black interior.
- Built for Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s NASCAR team, and driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the 2007 Pepsi 400, this Monte Carlo features Brembo brake calipers, a front splitter, an Innovative Safety Products driver’s seat, a Sabelt harness, a quick-release steering wheel, a Hurst shifter, a roll cage, and a fire suppression system, among other equipment.
- Chevrolet redesigned the Monte Carlo SS race car for the 2006 season of NASCAR. The visual updates largely mirrored the changes made to the street-legal model, but the two coupes remained linked only by a handful of styling cues — the NASCAR featured a specific tubular chassis. The regular-production Monte Carlo retired after 2007, and its spot on the track was filled by an Impala SS-branded race car.
- Power comes from a 5.9-liter V8. It spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission.
