I wonder if it was weird for the conductor in this situation as people frequently describe the sound of an approaching tornado to that of a freight train?
A classic unstoppable force pitted against an immovable object scenario played out in Lincoln, Nebraska on Friday with the (seemingly) immovable object being a freight train and a tornado played the part of the unstoppable force.
Safe to say in this match-up the unstoppable force/tornado emerged the victor as the train was battered and bruised with a total of 31 freight cars toppled over when the dust cleared.
Thankfully the conductor of the train and the engineer were unharmed.
