Last night (April 8), Heart rocked the stage on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” treating the audience to a performance of their classic hit “Barracuda.” In light of the solar eclipse that took place yesterday, the band also joined forces with Jimmy Fallon to put on a very entertaining performance of the classic Bonnie Taylor 1980s hit “Total Eclipse of the Heart” on a rooftop at 30 Rockefeller Center in New York City.
Per Blabbermouth, with his special eclipse glasses on and dressed in a public school uniform from Russell Mulcahy’s official music video for “Total Eclipse of the Heart,”, Fallon introduced their performance saying, “We have a special show tonight. Heart is our musical guest and today is, obviously, the solar eclipse. So we thought we have to do what we have to do, we have to sing ‘Total Eclipse Of The Heart’.” Watch their performances below.
Beginning April 20 in Greenville, South Carolina, Heart will be embarking on their first tour in five years, making a pit stop in Green Bay on November 22! The “Royal Flush” Tour will feature Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening, and the ticket presale will begin on Thursday, April 14th at 10AM with the on sale beginning at 10AM on Friday, April 5.
