We are sad to name as this week’s Rick and Cutter Show Weenie of the Week…Green Bay Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur.
Now, I realize some of you thought it might be Packers alleged defensive coordinator Joe Barry. I say “alleged” because I saw no actual evidence of any coordinated defense on the field on Sunday. But while Barry did a remarkably incompetent job on Sunday (and that’s coming from someone who has done a remarkably incompetent jobs FOR YEARS) and put up a running defense that had more holes than a reverse gang bang, it’s LaFleur who has chosen to do absolutely nothing about it.
In fact, in his Monday press conference, LaFleur acknowledged how historically bad the defense was on Sunday but said he plans to retain Barry for the rest of the season.
So,
For being like SAG-AFTRA during their four-month strike…and just refusing to act.
For making a decision about as unpopular as a pork sausage and bacon breakfast at a synagogue.
For retaining Barry despite giving him a show of support so lame Jerry Lewis would have hosted a telethon for it.
We are sad to name Packer’s Coach Matt Lafleur who, when it came to Joe Barry this week, refused to let the door hit him where the good lord split him, as this week’s Rick and Cutter Show…WEENIE OF THE WEEK.
