Sebastian Bach and his former band Skid Row put out on the highest-selling and charting debuts in rock history. Their self-titled debut had hit songs that have become classic rock staples like “Youth Gone Wild” and “18 and Life.”
Says Bach: “2024 marks the 35th Anniversary of the 1st record Skid Row and on SELECT dates in 2024 we will be playing the record in its entirety! We will not be doing this at every show.”
Only a couple of dates have been announced, but this is something we will be on the lookout for as he announces more tour dates after the new year. If you’re like us and thinking “Well why not just reunite with Skid Row and do this right?” Turns out Bach may be thinking the same thing. “A Skid Row reunion should” happen “for the fans. And we are absolutely running out of bands — bands that can play in sheds,” he said. “The fact that we are all still alive and we are all in our 50s — some closer to 60 than others — but that, to me, is selfish that we’re not together.”
On top of that Sebastian has put out a new solo song that has the metal and rock community buzzing. Like for real, that’s not just a line. The song is called “What Do I Got to Lose?” and he promises a new album in 2024 on top of those Skid Row celebration dates. The song was co-written by Myles Kennedy and produced by Elvis Baskete, and according to Bach, it’s doing really well already.
