We can’t make this up. The Rolling Stones, the legends of rock and roll who are mostly in their 80s now are hitting the road and the tour is sponsored by AARP – The American Association of Retired Persons. The 2024 Hackney Diamonds tour will hit 15 U.S. stadiums including a stop at Soldier Field in Chicago on June 24th.
Keith Richards says he’s looking to get back on the road, which will be their first time in the U.S. since 2021, and first tour since Europe in 2022.
“When Mick and I conceived of this record and it’s a big hit, we go out on the road behind it. So, in actual fact, that is the second stage of the rocket — you know, is to take it on the road.”
