You’d think most everyone has heard the phrase “Don’t Poke the Bear” – meaning If/When You Disturb something that isn’t eating you right now, it won’t take long for that to change.
Exhibit – Idiot.
The Instagram page touronsofnationalparks which tracks the moronic/idiotic actions of tourists in national parks has captured another touron (tourist + moron) and in this case they literally poke the bear.
A bear is just chillin’ eating something at the shore of Campbell River in British Columbia when a group swarm like paparazzi taking selfies, shooting videos, just acting like clueless dullards in general. When one of these wannabe “influencers” decides to try to PET THE BEAR!
The bear flinches sending the dip$#!t scurrying away.
Needless to say, this could’ve been much worse. And maybe this should’ve been much worse to set an example of what happens when you cross that line.
But then again, people still drive without seatbelts and ride without helmets so why not let Darwin take the camera and snap a picture.
Say cheese, stupid.
