TOWN OF TAYCHEEDAH, Wis. — A Fond du Lac man is seriously injured in a paraglider crash.
Witnesses say they heard the engine of the powered paraglider sputtering and saw the 34-year-old man losing altitude before crashing into a town of Taycheedah cornfield around 5:45 p.m. Monday.
The man was flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah, where his condition has not been released.
While the cause of the crash is under investigation, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office believes engine failure was a factor.
