Next Thursday morning in the 7 o’clock hour we will be joined by our friends from Travel Leaders to announce most of the details for the 2024 WAPL International Incident. What we know so far is it will take place March 3rd to March 10th of 2024. The where to and where for will be revealed by Travel Leaders during their Thursday on-air appearance.

We also know that this will be the 20th International Incident.
In the last almost two decades, the yearly winter getaway to some breathtaking tropical location has (like the WAPL Christmas Bash) become part of the very fabric of the radio station.
And we know that, once again, I will be on the trip. How do we know that? Because I’ve ALWAYS been on the trip. I am, in fact, the only one who has survived all 19 of the winter incidents. However, this will also be MY LAST.
I mention this now in case this has some impact on your decision to join us. I’m sure there’s a bunch of people out there who have been waiting for nearly 2 decades and now I see the light at the end of the tunnel. “Finally, 2025 we can go without having to put up with that load!”
This is not a decision I’ve arrived at easily. My reasons are many and varied. In fact, there are 10 of them!
