It’s official, KISS is coming to Crandon, WI.
Yep, you read that right. The same legendary rock band that is bringing their End of the Road Tour to places like Norway, Australia, and Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles is making a pit stop in the northwoods of Wisconsin this September. How you might ask? The efforts of the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe and its casinos, says the band’s website.
As a celebration of the upcoming opening of Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley’s Rock & Brews restaurant located inside of Potawatomi Casino Hotel in Milwaukee, the KISS concert will take place at Crandon International Raceway on September 1 – the same weekend as the Crandon World Championship Off-Road Races. According to the Green Bay Press Gazette, “the restaurant is part of a $100 million renovation to Potawatomi’s third floor and will become the casino’s main venue for live entertainment when it opens.”
In a statement shared on the KISS website, Forest County Potawatomi Community Tribal Chairman, James Crawford said,
“The Forest County Potawatomi Tribe is honored to play a role in bringing KISS to Crandon, Rock & Brews to Milwaukee, and people together to enjoy this next era of entertainment in Wisconsin. We cannot wait to welcome these two icons to the perfect backdrop of our Northwoods where we’ll show how Wisconsin truly loves to rock.”
KISS ARMY Fan Club ticket sales will begin on June 17, local market ticket sales will begin on June 18, and general ticket sales will begin on June 19.
