A guy from Edmonton, Canada really got into a piece of art… not in the spiritual or educational sense but literally got trapped INSIDE a piece of art.
The Talus Dome (Silver Ball Tower) is a public art sculpture in Edmonton, Canada – basically it’s a bunch of shiny balls clumped together – imagine a HUGE version of those magnetic balls that people have on their desks at work to relieve stress… only these balls caused quite a lot of stress to one ‘adventurous‘ Canadian.
Apparently the 26-year old decided to climb on top of the balls and found a spot where he could actually slip inside the sculpture – so he did.
What he didn’t plan was an exit strategy once inside the balls because he got stuck.
He had to call authorities to help him get out. In which they ended up slightly damaging the piece.
The guy’s girlfriend who was with him at the time seemed pretty unsympathetic to his plight saying, “Maybe they should have left him there overnight, you know, throw him a sandwich or something… But they rescued him.”
The things we do trying to impress the ones we love.
