There have been all kinds of rumors recently surrounding Aaron Rodgers’s employment with the Green Bay Packers in the coming 2023/24 NFL season. Today, he appeared on the Pat McAfee show to “clear up the rumors.”
“I made it clear that my intention is to play and my intention is to play for the Jets”
Rodgers said that right now compensation between the Packers and The Jets is the issue. He has been focusing on working out and while his intention is to play for the Jets, he is still under contract with the Green Bay Packers.
Rodgers said:
“I went into the darkness 90% retiring and 10% ready to play”
He continued:
“It was clear to me when I came out of the darkness that Green Bay was ready to move on.”
