We are proud to name as this week’s Rock and Cutter Show Weenie of the Week…Alex Braun of Manitowoc who was charged with arson Monday and is a suspect in the burning of the garage and a camper outside Van’s Bar in December. According to police, “Surveillance videos show Braun leaving the bar, relieving himself outside, then walking into the garage. The garage was on fire when he walked out. Braun walks away from the garage that is on fire, stops and walks back looking at the flames. Braun then stops again watching the garage burn, turns around and walks back into Van’s Bar and drinks his beer as the fire continues to burn and engulf the garage.”
According to one witness “everyone told Alex to call 911 because he had a phone” but he procrastinated and didn’t seem to want to call.
For his part, Braun claims he did not set the fire and told police he only went in the garage because he was “looking for a suspicious person”. He then told police that if he did start the fire, it wasn’t on purpose.
So,
For probably not being the first person to leave some patrons at Van’s with a burning sensation.
For possibly being the state’s biggest liar named b-r-a-u-n since Ryan got his booty juiced.
And for offering an excuse for going in the garage that is so lame, if Jerry Lewis were alive, he’d host a telethon for it.
