The rock guitar legend Steve Vai came out with a record last week called Vai/Gash in dedication to his fallen friend Johny “Gash” Sombrotto with whom he used to ride motorcycles. The album was recorded in 1991 as a way for Steve to do a straight-ahead rock record with bikers in mind. A great rock record that sounds good while cruising on your Harley. Instead of having someone else sing on it, or do it himself, he had his friend Gash do it. After 32 years on the shelf, Steve has finally finished it up and is letting the world hear it.
On top of that, Steve finally answers the question that Cutter has been dying to know the answer to, What’s up with the handle in the body of his signature guitar?
