GRAND CHUTE, Wis. — The Grand Chute Fire Department selects its next chief.
Two Rivers Fire Chief Steven Denzien is chosen for the position. He will take over for interim chief Len Vander Wyst, who has served the role since the retirement of longtime chief Timothy Bantes in July.
Denzien has served as Two Rivers’ fire chief since 2019 and also served with the Lisbon and Brookfield fire departments. His first day as Grand Chute fire chief will be Jan. 3.
