MADISON, Wis–Two Fox Valley schools are cited as the best in the state. The Department of Public Instruction has released its annual “report cards” for all public schools in Wisconsin.
Oshkosh’s Accelerated Advanced Learning Program tied for tops in the state with a score of 98.7, which means it is “exceeding expectations”. The Odyssey-Magellan School in Appleton ranked third in the state with a score of 98.3.
Nearly all schools in the area got a “meeting expectations” score. Only a handful of school in our area ranked as “not meeting expectations”. They include Longfellow Elementary in Clintonville; Edison, Franklin, Howe, Tank and Washington schools in Green Bay; and Two Rivers High School.
