“Anybody with ability can play in the big leagues. To last as long as I did with the skills I had, was a triumph of the human spirit”. – Bob Uecker
Monday was my 40th anniversary of working for Woodward Radio. That may not seem like a big deal to anybody with talent, skills, or abilities. But for somebody lacking in all those areas, 40 years of bamboozling one company to keep myself employed is significant.
You do anything for 40 years and you’re gonna learn some things. I have. Unfortunately, none of the things I’ve learned have anything to do with doing a better job.
My deepest and most appreciative thanks to each and every one of you who have tuned in and listened to my blabbering, jabbering and muttering over the years. I promise you will all be the first to know if I ever figure out what I want to do when I grow up.
