It was in 2011 that original Great White singer Jack Russell left the band. Since then he’s been out touring as Jack Russell’s Great White. Meanwhile, the band themselves haven’t been able to keep a singer around very long. They went from Terry Illous to Mitch Malloy to their most recent Andrew Freeman who only lasted for six months. The late Jani Lane of Warrant fame even filled in for them while on out on the road for one tour. Maybe now that will change and they found their guy.
Introducing Brett Carlisle from Alabama. He’s a 25-year-old from the Birmingham area who last played with the band All or Nothing. In a recent interview, he said: “I grew up listening to Great White, I’m a huge fan. So if they want me to be the guy to do it, then I’m here for it.”
The reason for Andrew Freeman’s firing was he had too many commitments with his other band Last in Line for Great White’s liking.
Here are a couple of van filmed videos from last month when Brett filled in as the lead singer of Great White in Las Vegas.
