Kellogg’s – the company known for their snacks and breakfast items – is thinking outside the cereal box this fall. The company is teaming with a Tennessee distillery to offer an adult drink inspired by one of the company’s iconic products.
Eggo Nog Appalachian Sippin’ Cream is a cream-based alcoholic liqueur born of a collaboration between Kellogg’s and Sugarlands Distillery based in Gatlinburg, TN. The 40 proof drink means it contains 20% alcohol by volume and the distillery says the liqueur pairs great with Eggo Thick and Fluffy Waffles, a mainstay of the Kellogg Company’s frozen breakfast line.
Although Eggo Nog Appalachian Sippin’ Cream is listed on Sugarlands Distillery’s website as having “limited availability”, they do say it is available in northeast Wisconsin. According to the site, you can purchase the drink at Woodman’s in Appleton and at Liquorland on Wisconsin Street in Oshkosh.
