TOWN OF CLEVELAND, Wis. — A man is dead following a fire at a Manitowoc County bar.
Crews were called to the Hika Bay Tavern the town of Cleveland around 8 p.m. Sunday to find a second-story apartment engulfed in flames.
A 45-year-old man was found in that unit. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The building itself dates back to the 1800s when it was known as the Union House.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
