HARRISONVILLE, Mo–A Missouri man that killed two Shawano County brothers will spend the rest of his life in prison–with no chance of parole. Garland Nelson pleads guilty in Cass County, Missouri court to two counts of Murder in the First Degree.
By avoiding a jury trial, Nelson took the death penalty off the table. He killed Nick and Justin Diemel after the brothers came to his farm to collect on a cattle debt back in July of 2019. Nelson then burned the bodies–and abandoned their vehicle at a park and ride lot.
