His is a unique talent! Michael Winslow. It’s hard to guess where are you may have first become aware of Michael Winslow. For many it was his role as Larvelle Jones in the first Police Academy movie. Or perhaps as Larvelle Jones in the second Police Academy movie. Or perhaps Larvelle Jones in the third Police Academy movie… I think we know where this is going. Yes, Michael Wilson, the Man of 10,000 Sounds, appeared in all seven Police Academy movies. It was probably the best thing and all seven of them. Or you might know him from the movie Spaceballs. Or maybe you just discovered him just last year when he made a deep run toward the finals on America’s Got Talent.
Some may call him an impressionist but Michael prefers “voicetramentalist”, as it’s a better representation of exactly what he does. And one of the things Michael does is an amazing reproduction of Led Zeppelin‘s Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, supplying both the voice and the electric guitar. Michael is appearing Thursday through Saturday night at the Skyline Comedy Club in Appleton and will join Rick with Ross (Cutter is away) in the studio a little after 8AM on Friday morning. You don’t want to miss that!
