Def Leppard is set to release their new album Diamond Star Halos on May 27th. Today, the band released another new single from the record called “Fire It Up.” The song is the third in a line of previously released tracks called “Take What You Want” and “Kick.”
In a recent interview with Germany’s Rockland Radio, frontman Joe Elliot said of the album:
“Well, I believe that this is a career-defining album. For a band that’s been around now for 45 years, to make an album that’s this strong, I believe, at this point of our career is actually quite an achievement.”
After the release of the first single “Kick,” Phil Collen said in an interview with Billboard:
“[Kick] It’s got that glam rock feel, that hand-clap groove, big vocals. It was just a no-brainer. It was not only that it’s got to be on the album, it’s got to be the first single as well.”
Def Leppard will release their 12th full-length album, Diamond Star Halos, on May 27th.
