APPLETON, Wis. — Appleton’s police chief is retiring.
Chief Todd Thomas announces his retirement after seven years as the department’s leader.
In a statement, he says he will retire in January of next year, giving the Police and Fire Commission time to thoroughly search for the right candidate.
