We are heartbroken to learn that a Northeast Wisconsin staple… The Exclusive Company… will be closing all stores after 66 years in business.
The Exclusive Company broke the news in a post to Facebook saying:
“After 66 years of bringing music and memories to generations throughout Wisconsin, it is with a heavy heart we announce The Exclusive Company will be closing all of our stores in the coming months. This sad development has come about due to the sudden passing of our founder and owner, James “Mr. G” Giombetti.”
Mr. G passed away in November of 2021 and was remembered for his love of music and his hilarious radio commercials.
“Many of you knew Mr. G from his thousands of radio ads over the years. In each of those ads you heard the passion he had for both The Exclusive Company and the music he loved. He worked tirelessly seven days a week to ensure The Exclusive Company would always provide the largest selection of music at the lowest price in a fun, friendly, and diverse environment for music lovers of all ages.”

The Exclusive Company has invited everyone to stop into the stores over the coming weeks and share in memories. They’ll be announcing more information in the plans to close the stores. As we get that information we will pass it on to you.
