FOND DU LAC, Wis. — A gas leak forces the evacuation of a Fond du Lac plant and surrounding neighborhood.
Crews were called to Milk Specialties Thursday morning for a report of a gas plume and yellowish cloud in the atmosphere.
It took crews more than five hours to contain the leak.
All 90 to 100 employees were evacuated, as well as residents within a block of the plant.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the leak will be investigated in the coming days.
