Aaron Rodgers is back.
The four-time MVP tweeted Tuesday that he is indeed returning to the Green Bay Packers.
“Hey everyone, just wanted to clear some things up; YES I will be playing with the Packers next year,” wrote Rodgers on Twitter. “However, reports about me signing a contract are inaccurate, as are the supposed terms of the contract I “signed”. I’m very excited to be back.”
Rodgers went on to add a muscle flex emoji, the hashtag “year 18” and added a heart emoji.

According to Pat McAfee on the “Pat McAfee Show”, the four-time MVP spoke with Pat privately this morning, confirming that he was ready to announce he will be returning to the Green Bay Packers. McAfee would go on to say that reports of a 4-year,$200 million dollar deal with $153 million guaranteed are “categorically false” and the numbers may have been offered but according to McAfee, “maybe it isn’t about being the highest-paid quarterback in the league.”
Rodgers confirms that he intends to return to Green Bay but the financial details and length of the deal are yet to be announced or confirmed.
This is a developing story.
The #Packers and MVP QB Aaron Rodgers have agreed to terms on a 4-year, $200M deal that makes him the highest paid player in NFL history, sources say. He gets a whopping $153M guaranteed and his cap number goes down. A monstrous commitment by GB for years to come.
