New UW-Oshkosh band and fight song ready for debut

The new U-W Oshkosh band makes its debut tonight (Wednesday). “The Bolt Band” student pep band will perform at the Titans men’s basketball game at the Kolf Sports Center. The Bolt Band is a smaller version of the marching band that Chancellor Andrew Leavitt launched last year. “Titan Thunder”–the full 100-piece unit–will take the field for football games and larger events next fall. Tonight will also mark the debut of the new school fight song “Go Mighty Titans”–written by U-W-O alum and composer David Gillingham.
