Charlie Berens is a Wisconsin native who has become the authoritative figure in midwest culture. His new book The Midwest Survival Guide: How we Talk, Love, Work, Drink, Eat…Everything With Ranch has become a New York Times bestseller. It’s a book that “has everything you need to know in order to survive the midwest.” In December he sold out the Resch Center doing his stand-up, he’s the host of the Manitowoc Minute, and really just a swell guy. Also according to our General Manager for our parent company Woodward Communications, “he’s really funny.”
