The discovery of a body along a trail near the U-W Green Bay campus is a case of murder. Campus police were initially called to the trail in the Cofrin Arboretum around 12:30 Tuesday morning on the report of a fire along the trail. When they arrived, they found the body of a man believed to be in his twenties. Green Bay Police Captain Ben Allen believes the victim was murdered elsewhere and then was dumped along the trail. Police did not release any information on the fire. The victim’s identity has not been determined.
